


Bean Dip
Savoury chickpea spread for toast or dipping. Delicious on a slice of toast topped with carrot lox!

Ingredients
- 900 g dried chickpeas
- 1/2 cup chickpea water
- 1 cup sesame seeds
- 2 cup oil
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 3/4 cup dried parsley
Instructions
Soak Chickpeas
- fully submerge chickpeas in water, cover, and store in the fridge overnight
Steam Chickpeas
- steam chickpeas in 1 inch of water for 40 minutes
- check that chickpeas are soft, cook for ~10 more minutes if not
Bean Dip
- place all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth
